The Rochester RHIO makes eResults easy.
The Rochester RHIO can provide a single source for timely results for patients as they move through our regional health care delivery system. No more logging into multiple portals for results. No more phoning and waiting for lab results, or sending patients for another round of tests when results are not forthcoming.
Our clinical messaging architecture supports integration to third party EHR systems, based on a standardized HL7 interface. Reports that you order, or that are “copied to” you, will be delivered directly to your clinical inbox. Since eResults mirrors the existing exchange of information in your medical practice, patients do not need to sign the RHIO Patient Consent Form for you to receive their results through the RHIO.
RHIO staff will work with your EHR vendor to facilitate integration. This one interface will provide lab, radiology and transcribed reports from all participating area labs, hospitals and radiology centers. The Rochester RHIO does not charge physicians for eResults.
